Masters of the Universe: Revolution

The latest season in the Netflix Masters of the Universe world takes place sometime after the previous season’s events where Preternia, their version of heaven sees that people who have died since are stuck in Subternia or some sort of aimless limbo and Scare Glow is reveling in that. Teela (now voiced by Melissa Benoist) is coming into her own as the new Realm sorceress of Grayskull is seeking a way to re-establish Preternia and Prince Adam is coming to terms with the death of his father King Randor – and how he will sit at the throne. The Equalizer 3 Bluray Review

The Equalizer 3 stars Denzel Washington, and Dakota Fanning and was directed by Antoine Fuqua. Special thanks to Sony Home Entertainment for the generous Bluray disc. The third and (potentially) final film in the popular action series. In this installment, Denzel Washington’s Robert McCall struggles with his past and learns that his friends are under the control of the local crime bosses. It’s at this point he decides it’s time to step up and become a protector. It’s been a while since I watched the previous installments in the series and I wish I had the time to review them one more time before diving into this one but timing just didn’t work out for me but from what I recall, the Equalizer 3 starts…

Leave the World Behind Review (Netflix)

Leave the World Behind stars Julia Roberts, Mahershala Ali, and Ethan Hawke and was directed by Sam Esmail.

It’s an adaptation of Rumaan Alam’s 2020 best-selling novel of the same name. It’s about a family who decides they need to get away from the big city and take a break so they rent a luxurious home for the weekend with their kids, Archie (Charlie Evans) and Rose (Farrah Mackenzie).

Leo Review (Netflix)

Today’s review is about the latest Adam Sandler Netflix family film, the animated movie Leo. It stars Adam Sandler and Bill Burr and was directed David Wachtenheim, Robert Marianettie and Robert Smigel. It’s the story about LEO a 74yr old lizard who has spent his entire life living in a fifth-grade classroom as the class pet when after talking with his aquarium mate Squirtle the Turtle (voiced by Bill Burr) he decides that he’s had enough of just lounging around and it’s time to try and escape his life and live a little. Soon after the new school year starts, the kids are each tasked with taking one of the class pets home for the weekend and it’s here that LEO plans to make his…

The Invincible (PC Review)

The Invincible was developed by Starward Industries and published by 11-bit Studios. It’s a loose adaptation of the popular 1964 Polish novel of the same name. When I say loose adaptation, I mean that it’s almost like a complimentary adaptation of the book because as I understand it there are new or different events and characters that don’t necessarily align directly with the book. If you’re new to this channel, know that I hate spoilers and I always try to avoid them so you shouldn’t be too worried. There may be some small minor bits of information but nothing that the trailer doesn’t show you. The Invincible puts players in control of Yasna who wakes up confused and lacking memory of how she got there…

The Crew Motorfest

The Crew Motorfest was developed by Ivory Tower and published by Ubisoft. I love some racing games especially the Forza Horizon series so it was especially exciting to see that there was another challenger in this space. The Crew Motorfest is heavily inspired by the Horizon series and I honestly don’t think that’s a bad thing. The moment you fire it up for the first time and take control, those inspirations slap you right in the face immediately. The vibrant open world is set in the beautiful tropical paradise of Hawaii all surrounded by a festival celebrating car and race culture. It feels familiar and safe but that’s ok. This shift in direction is a good thing and gamers will really appreciate it. The first…

I’d say that Fall of the House of Usher is Flanagan is the real crown jewel in Netflix and Flanagans working relationship.

That 90s Show

That 70s Show is a series that I hold near and dear to my heart. I loved the era it was set in and the characters really spoke to me as someone who was in the perfect age bracket for when that show first aired. It’s still something I consider as comfort watching and am currently watching it with my oldest daughter who also loves it. Still, I consider this series as my favorite. When I heard that there was a reboot coming in the form of that 90 show, I was extremely excited about that. So, is it any good? Let’s find out. Taking place 15 years after that 70 show signed off with Eric and Donna leaving Point Place together to start their lives together. Eric and Donna come back to Point Place to visit Red and Kitty with their teenage daughter Leia. Yes. As in Princess, Leia. It seems as though Eric won that battle and got to name his only child…
