It’s less than a month away from one of my all time favorite series’ from the last gen. Mass Effect. The excitement is real and I’m hoping to burn through the previous titles in the lead up to the March 21st release but this winter has been different than most. There’s so much to play. Anyway – Back to the task at hand. BioWare has released two new videos for the upcoming Mass Effect: Andromeda, the first shows gameplay focusing on the profiles, favorites, and squads players have in the game, and the second a profile on Game of Thrones‘ star Natalie Dormer’s character, Dr Lexi T’Perro. Mass Effect: Andromeda debuts on March 21 for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

With Halo Wars 2 set to hit consoles and Windows 10 PCs Microsoft has treated us to an outstanding trailer for their highly anticipated and long awaited title. As someone who loves RTS games but happens to be absolutely terrible at them, I’m more than a little excited to get in on this action.

Rise & Shine is a 2D side scrolling shooter that takes pays a great deal of homage to classic games from my childhood like Contra, Zelda and a variety of other titles. The plot, puts the gamer into protagonist Rise’s shoes who has the gun Shine bestowed upon him to aid him in defending his planet Gamearth from invasion of space baddies whose real purpose is never really fleshed out in any great detail. The game itself is simple in concept but utilizing a dual thumb stick control scheme to aim and shoot. The MASS EFFECT Youtube page uploaded 2 NEW videos for their next instalments for the MASS EFFECT Series that introduce to viewers & fans some new characters, aliens and what looks to be the next Main Villain of this game that will be hitting store shelves and digital dashboards on March 21st. For those who don’t know, Mass Effect: Andromeda is an action role-playing game in which the player takes control of either Sara or Scott Ryder from a third-person perspective. Andromeda follows the Pathfinder Team, whose job is to “find and secure potential golden worlds, identify settlement sites and start the process of building our new home” for 20,000 people marooned in space. This morning, Marvel and Square Enix/Eidos Montreal announced that they were partnered up for a new project. There’s not much given away from the trailer but it looks as though this is post Civil War (possible to tie into Infinity War?). Another thing to ask is, is this an RPG? Fighting game in the same vein as the Injustice series (less likely). Action game? MMORPG… So many ways this could go. What I do know is the team at Square Enix/Eidos Montreal at the helm, we’re all in for a real treat.

As a hockey fan, I’m sick of hearing the talk asking if it’s time to get rid of fighting in hockey. I’ll admit that I wasn’t always a hockey fan and only really came around to the game in the last 15yrs but I’m a ravenous fan who lives and dies with his team. What a day. Last night we got the new Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer and now we’re getting some more trailer goodness with the new War for the Planet of the Apes trailer. As a big fan of the original series from the 60s and 70s and an even bigger fan of this iteration of the franchise I got goosebumps watching this. Also – how did I not know that Woody Harelson was in this movie? Woody is simply an outstanding actor and I can’t wait The film stars Andy Serkis, Woody Harrelson, Steve Zahn, Terry Notary and Karin Konoval. War for the Planet of the Apes opens nationwide on July 14, 2017. Check it out

Well, color me surprised. The new Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer finally launched tonight on Jimmy Kimmel and despite some of my reservations, I am quite simply blown away. I wasn’t super sure of Tom Holland, didn’t know how I felt about the eyes in Civil War but goddamn they delivered a great looking Spider-Man trailer and The Vulture looks OUTSTANDING!
