Hardware Review – Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2

I’ve had about a month with the Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2, the successor to the wildly popular Stealth 600. I’ve had great experience with the previous versions of these headsets so how was my time with the 2nd gen? ***As a side note before we move along, I urge you to download the Turtle Beach Audio Hub to your PC prior to getting started to make sure you have the very latest and greatest firmware on there. Trust me. It makes a difference and early on there was a slight bug that needed to be addressed for the sound.*** The first thing I noticed when I pulled the Stealth 600 Gen 2 out of the box was a slight redesign on the headphones.…

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 Remaster – Review (Xbox)

The Tony Hawk Pro Skater series, at one time, was the standard by which “x games” series gaming titles were measured by. When it first launched in 1999, it was quite literally a genre defining game. Great gameplay, graphics and a soundtrack that had people moving in their collective seats. There have been many releases across many systems over the years but none of them ever had the same kind of critical acclaim as the first 2. When this remaster was announced earlier this year, I was pretty excited for the game to reach a whole new generation of gamers but at the time I struggled to get excited about it for myself. The grindiness of the game was great for me when I was…

Battletoads Review – Xbox One X

It’s been 26 long years since we last saw Rash, Pimple and Zitz smashing and bashing their enemies on the way to whooping the Dark Queen. I remember the last level and playing it with my friends on the NES… it was dark… full of floating enemies, spring jumps… and yelling… so much yelling… and crying. The yelling and crying obviously was coming from me or my buddies out of pure frustration but somehow I still hold those memories and this series near and dear to my heart. Here we are in 2020.. partially locked down due to Covid and I’m toadally (<— ehh?!?) jacked up that these characters have been brought back for a whole new generation. Set 26 years after we last saw…
